Giulio Iacchetti

Simple, fresh and intuitive: these three words sum up Giulio Iacchetti and his approach to design. Born 1966 in Milan, he is now a forerunner in the new revolution of Italian design. His work is characterized by researching and defining new object typologies, such as the Moscardino, a biodegradable spoon and fork.
Portrait of Italian designer Giulio Iacchetti
"Aesthetics without ethics cannot exist. ... the world of production and goods will become increasingly, positively intertwined with values bound to sustainability."
Though proudly self-taught, he did graduate in Cultural Heritage before going on to complete several courses in architecture and a two-year course in Industrial Design, as well as the workshop 'Futurarium'. Giulio has received countless awards and has taken part in numerous exhibitions and international design competitions.
