Earth Day originated in the United States in 1970, after a major accident environment. Each year this day aims to raise awareness and bring light to a different kind of pollution.This year, the day is dedicated to combating plastic pollution, clearly and precisely defined, similar to a mathematical equation: 60x40.
It means reducing global plastic production by 60 percent by 2040.
